Privacy policy

The form asks for your name, your email address, the listing your request is about, what should change, a page on your website that shows it, and a box confirming that you are the coach or are authorized by the coaching firm. A removal needs only the listing, your name, your email and the box. Anything else you type in the form reaches us too.

When you press Send, our server turns the form into one email. Resend, an email delivery service, delivers it to the site’s editors at The Voll Group, which runs the site. Your email address is set as the reply address, so we can answer you. The site itself saves nothing you send: there is no database of requests.

To slow down abuse, the server counts the requests that come from each internet address over the last minute. That count is kept only in the server’s memory and is never saved.

We use what you send to handle your request: to check it against your own website, to change or remove your listing, and to reply to you. We may also email you about your listing and about optional paid features for coaches. Each of those emails says how to stop them, and when you ask, we stop. We never use what you send for recruiting, and we do not sell it or share it outside The Voll Group.

We keep each request email for up to two years after we finish handling it, as a record of what changed on the listing and why, and then delete it. If you have not asked us to stop emailing you, we keep your name and email address while your listing is up, to send the emails described above.

One record is kept longer, to keep a promise. When a coach confirms a removal, we add the coach’s name, the web address of the removed listing and the date of the request to our do-not-list, which keeps the listing from ever being added again. That entry stays for as long as the site runs, unless the coach later asks in writing to be listed again.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have your request emails deleted sooner, reply to any email we sent you about your request. If you never heard from us, send the form again and ask in it. We will tell you when it is done.

The site counts how often each page is viewed and how often visitors click from a coach’s listing to the coach’s website or another page, so we can see which pages help visitors and tell coaches how often their listing is seen. Vercel Web Analytics, a service of our web host, does the counting. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. With each page view or click it records the time, the page’s address, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system and type of device, and a rough location (country, region and city) worked out from your internet address. It groups page views into visits with a value worked out from each request and discarded after a day, so the counts cannot tell who you are or follow you from one day to the next or to other websites.

We send each page’s address without anything after a question mark or a # sign, so the words you search for and the filters you pick are never sent. We look at the counts only as totals, never use them for advertising and never sell them. We may tell a coach how many times their listing was viewed and how many times visitors clicked through to their website.

The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or social media scripts. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site counts nothing from your visit. Like any website, it receives the technical details that every web request carries, such as your internet address and browser type; our web host, Vercel, uses them to deliver the pages and keep the site running.

The facts on a coach’s listing come from the coach’s own public website and from public rosters that list the coach, never from visitors. The methodology explains how we collect and check them, and a coach can correct or remove a listing on the claim page.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date at the top.
